*waves back* I am so very glad that I found people who know and like Gundam Wing because I hate that with all those new animes out there now, it is thought to be 'old school' and it is a rare thing to find people who have actually seen it. Makes me feel so old D:
*lol* tell me about it. Considering when I started watching anime 2001(ish) I'm relunetent to call myself an old schooler but it's so true. I can remember when bookstores had a half of shelf of manga and the anime in movies stores were always next to the porn! The last good anime I watched was Witch Hunter Robin. ugh!!~
I know what you mean by the manga in the bookstores. I've started buying manga (well, one title lol) again after 2-3 years of not buying any and I was shocked to see that they have an entire section (like almost 20 shelves) devoted to it at my local bookstore. I remember having to go there and pray that they had at least one or two shelves, and by some chance of fate the issue of whatever I was reading at the time was there.
LOL at anime being next to porn. Our local video stores never had it next to the porn, but when you bought it you always did get similar looks as if you were buying something bad XD
I love Witch Hunter Robin! I've seen a few animes since that was around, but very few and far between.
I watch anime the same way I watch 'regular' TV shows: if it's good, I'll watch it. By which I mean, I won't watch a show just because it happens to be Japanese anime, I'll watch it because it's good. That being said: try Fullmetal Alchemist (if you haven't already).
*Waves back* Hi!
GW certainly hasn't been forgotten by me. Most of my friends who used to watch it with me back when it was on Cartoon Network have forgotten about it oo, sadly. :( Me? I just bought the entire series on DVD. |
